Early Career Researcher? Conference bursaries available...

 

The Society understands that participating in events can be expensive, so are happy and able to support a number of early career researchers participate in its 2025 conference. 15 bursaries are available, which cover the in-person conference fee only and includes:

  • Access to any session over the three days of the conference (Monday 8th - Wednesday 10th September);

  • Daily refreshments and lunch during the conference;

  • Drinks reception (evening of Monday 8th September);

  • Early career social event (also on evening of Monday 8th September);

  • Conference dinner (evening of Tuesday 9th September).

  • Access to one half day workshop (Thursday 11th September)

Application requirements

  • Be a current student or within 5 years of PhD / or similar;

  • Be confirmed as presenting on the conference programme;

  • Be a member of the SLLS;

  • Not have received a bursary from the SLLS previously.
