AIRPORT

The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is 16 miles from Case Western Reserve University.

 

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) offers convenient rail service throughout the day to and from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport via the Red for a flat rate of $2.50. The RTA Red Line page has up-to-date information on fares, trip planning, and schedules. Travel time from the airport to Little Italy (adjacent to campus) is approximately 45-60 minutes with no transfer.

 

Uber and Lyft services are available at CLE and can be coordinated on either the upper (departures) or lower (arrivals) roadways. Approximate travel time is 25 minutes under normal traffic conditions, and in April 2022, fees ranged from $20-$30 per vehicle, not including tip.  Cab service is also available on the baggage level of the airport.

 

UNIVERSITY CIRCLE

Once in University Circle, transportation is easy to come by. Multiple bus lines, CircleLink Shuttles, and rental e-scooters and bicycles make University Circle accessible to anyone at any time. 

  • CircleLink Shuttles are free and run every 20-30 minutes from 6:30am to 6:00pm M-F and 12:00-6:00 on weekends. Shuttle Map can be found here.

  • daily passes can be purchased on all RTA vehicles or ticket kiosks for $5.00 and can be used for rail or bus. University Circle RTA map can be found here.

 

TRAVEL TO THE UNITED STATES

EXPLORING UNIVERSITY CIRCLE

University Circle is lush with parks and gardens, historical landmarks, and museums and galleries that dot the landscape, all within walking distance of delicious and eclectic food. It is also the home of the Cleveland Orchestra, consistently admired as one of the world’s greatest and America’s finest.
